唐娜·吉尔

Canadian-born pianist 唐娜·吉尔 has performed with singers and instrumentalists throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. Dr. Gill holds a DMA in Collaborative 钢琴 from the University of Minnesota, and completed further studies with Margo Garrett and Brian Zeger at The Juilliard School.

Donna currently teaches diction and song repertoire on the faculties of Mannes College, CUNY – Queens College, 纽约大学斯坦哈特, MSM Precollege Division, and The Juilliard School Evening Division. She is also a former music faculty member at Temple University in Philadelphia.

Donna is a long-time member of the coaching staff for the Chautauqua Institution School of 音乐, where she now works as head coach and administrator for the voice program. She is co-founder and co-director (with soprano Jane Olian) of Classical Singing and New York in June, a program for young singers and pianists in NYC, and also also coaches at the Académie La Roche d’Hys , in Vitteaux (Bourgogne), France.

In addition to her university and conservatory affiliations, 唐娜·吉尔 maintains an active schedule as a freelance artist and coach in New York City, where she makes her home.
